3D Snoopy Ornament

I'm a fan of the Peanuts characters: Snoopy & Woodstock. Hubby took vacation days off from work to put out the Christmas decorations. Hubby put lights on our new roof Fri. Hubby put up the non-inflatable yard decor Sat. Hubby put up the inflatable yard decor Sun. I helped with getting the boxes & such out of our Tuff Shed we had Home Depot build last yr for storing our Christmas decorations & other such stuff in so we did not have to rent storage space anymore. I also helped with the largest of the inflatable S&W, Snoopy on top of dog house with Woodstocks sleigh. We had wind on Sun and it took the two of us to get this one in place. Thank goodness we got this done Sun. because it rained Mon. See the photos below of S&W decorations in our yard.

Created this ornament using a clear plastic snap-apart ornament. Bought the ornament at Michaels last yr or yr(s) before but not seen them anywhere this yr other than online thru amazon. The fact that they snap-apart allows you to add items more easily.

Used Cricut to cut two 3" circles that had a part at top like the clear plastic ornament had. Attached stickers (2 of same so that it can be seen from either side of being hung up on tree) on the glitter cardstock circles. Discovered that stickers do not stick on glitter cardstock without using more adhesive. Die cut some tags & stamped sentiments. Added a gold star to a tag. Added ribbon (thru the holes in the circles top part & top of clear plastic ornament) & thread (used to attach tags). Added buffalo snow. Glued the snap-apart ornament together (need to do this to avoid the ornament from snapping apart and the buffalo snow from coming out) to secure it from coming apart.

    1. Buffalo snow is what the package said it is and it is a fine glittery snow (iridescent sprinkles) made by Polyester Fibers company. The bag I have is 3oz. Not sure if I bought at Hobby Lobby or or JoAnns or Michaels. You do need to be careful with it and I keep it in a ziploc bag because it can get scattered easily.
