LF Good Fortune Tag

Created this Tag with an Orient Good Fortune theme. Used Tim Holtz die for white cardstock Tag base. Embossed Tag with Cuttlebug Oriental embossing folder. Used TH Distress Ink on the Tag. Stamped fortune cookie or should I say I had a couple already stamped fortune cookies and I only had to use LF die to cut it out. It's great to have some on hand. I distressed the fortune cookie using Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Used my MISTI tool to stamp the fortune strip & made a couple of the fortune strips to have on hand for later. Used my MISTI tool to line up the sentiment & stamp it on the fortune strip.

Sometimes or should I say most times I applied too much pressure when stamping using blocks and would get a smudge or double stamping in some areas or stamping mistakes of all kinds. The MISTI makes it so much easier to get a good stamped image & if some ink is missing then you stamp that part and restamp it and since it is lined up you get the stamped image you want.

Taped the fortune strip to back of the fortune cookie. Curled the fortune strip to give it more dimension. Popped up the fortune cookie using foam adhesive for more dimension. Added metal star to the fortune cookie sentiment. Added ribbon.
